Starting Off

To begin with I decided I would create a simple terrain which would most likely be a Forest biome surrounded by mountains. This would allow me to keep the player within the game area in an easy way. After doing some research about how to best implement some AI behavours into my game I figured a first person shooter type game would allow me to implement a seek behaviour when the player gets too close too an enemy character and if the character was beyond a set distance the enemy characters could just wander or patrol a certain area. I have decided to use Unity to create my Project as opposed to netlogo as I have experience using Unity from a previous module. I will Spend the week researching what elements I like from various first person games and what works well as well as beginning to work on my terrain.
